(See the Clickbank Pirates Experiment, Day 1 post here.)
Latest results:
- Out of our 5 products, I’ve only been promoting the Clickbank Pirates product itself.
- We got 1 lead after the first day… off of 73 views
- That 73 views feels like a lot. We haven’t identified where it all came from . This exposes an important lesson in tracking – we need to not only know the visitor count, but also the source of each visitor.
How have we been promoting so far?
– Via Integration Marketing on my “thanks for subscribing, please double opt-in” page. (Also called a STOP page)
- We’ll initiate some other promotion tomorrow. I think I’ll leverage my Twitter account (http://www.twitter.com/RatRaceEscapee) next.
The 30-day plan:
- Clickbank Pirates has a daily training autoresponder series, for 4 weeks. So the 3 of us will follow that list, and keep you posted.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

Hey Bolaji, I promoted cb pirate before but very unsuccessfully, obviously it was not suitable for my audience.
I like how you are tracking your results, most people promote products blindly which is just plain dumb!

More on our thoughts:
The tool isn't fraudulent – seems like an honest application that could add value for newbie marketers.
But Cindy & Soren have been clever about how they LEVERAGE the tool:
1 – All leads we generate go to their lists, not ours. We never see the email addresses.
2 – A portion of the 5 Clickbank products we get to promote are their creations as well.
3 – The training area leverages ready-made products (mostly free, with an upgrade) that were built by others. So they likely didn't have to spend much time creating training content
So – we're kind of going into this experiment with the goal of giving each other accountability through the 30-day process. Learning is goal #1, profits are goal #2.
I'll keep sharing how it's going.
Have a great week, Sally! Still loving those shades – you and your daughter should do a rap video! LOL!
Hi Sally!
Fantastic to have you visit. I have NOW arrived as an Internet Marketer, and can retire happy!!!
Thanks for stopping by. It's funny; as my two fellow colalborators and I dig more and more into the CB Pirates tool, we're finding out that we're learning more from observing the marketers (Cindy & Soren), than we're learning from consuming and using their product!
You guys need to install Prosper202 to track your sales. This is a great free keyword / traffic tracking program that most affiliate marketers use.
