You won’t hear this anywhere else.
So listen up.

I hate the term “Newbie”.
It’s commonly used in Internet Marketing
to describe people who are new to the biz.
But in reality, it is also used to describe those of us
who haven’t yet BROKEN THROUGH,
and started earning consistent income.
(I was there not so long ago.)
I got tired of being treated like a newbie.
I got tired of being sold
EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN.
You should be, too.
Whether you’ve been doing this for
3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years,
You’re still being treated like a newbie.
It’s time to say ENOUGH.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR.

UNSUBSCRIBE.
Unsubscribe any marketer that’s not giving you
REAL VALUE,
REAL CLARITY,
REAL DIRECTION.
In a personal and actionable way.
UNSUBSCRIBE.
from the twenty emails you receive daily.
Even assuming they’re all quality,
No human being can go in
20 directions at once.
UNSUBSCRIBE.
from the fountain of empty promises.
It’s time for a Newbie Revolution.
It’s time for NEWBIES to have their REVENGE.
What’s your take on the Newbie’s Revolution?
Is it just me that has a problem with the way
most marketers operate these days?
Maybe I’m off base.

Hi Bolaji,
I am so glad you wrote this post. I get tired of being called a ‘newbie’. But there are so many things about the business that the so-called gurus don’t share. Thanks for your insight.

What’s up, Ella!

Let’s take that NEWBIE name and turn it on it’s head!

Hey Bolaji,
This was very cool to read man, particularly because I have a Monday Unsubscribing Day!
I tend to subscribe to a lot of stuff but honestly, I can’t stay for very long on just anyone’s list.
I don’t like it when my intelligence is insulted and MANY marketers is exactly what they’re doing.
Really enjoyed reading your article and I have to say, not many would have the guts to publish something like this.
Have a great day and looking forward to what comes next.

What’s up, Sergio!
Ha ha – Monday Unsubscribing Day!
That’s great!
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts, my man.
You’re doing a great job with marketingWithSergio as well!!!

“No human being can go in 20 directions at once.”
Great advice. Yes, this resonates and it is about time someone said this.
Thanks a lot, ERPConsultant!
I appreciate your comment.

Bolaji,
Great Post! This is some of the best advice you can give to a less experienced marketer.
The information overload that hits a new marketer is a death trap. You will literally be used up until there’s nothing left of you.
It’s the old “Baffle Them With B.S.” in action. A new marketer doesn’t know any better and becomes the proverbial deer in the headlights, frozen into inaction.
Unsubscribing from emails that don’t serve you is one of the most positive actions you can take to move your business onwards to success.
Thanks,
Mark A Geisler
“Baffle Them With B.S???
ROTFLMBO!!!
(Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Butt Off, for the uninitiated.)
That is the funniest term I’ve heard all week!
Thanks for the great laugh, and the great comment, Mark!

LOVED this post, Bolaji. The “unsubscribe” revolution!
IT’S THE COFFEEHOUSE KINGPIN!!!
Whatup, Wally!
Ha ha!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Now go unsubscribe from a list or two!
Your brain cells will thank you! LOL!

20 emails per day? That would be a luxury. The emails are off the charts and I have to get busy unsubscribing so I have any chance of all at success in 2012. I can’t get distracted by free stuff and product upgrades! Thanks for the kick in the seat of the pants Bolaji. I’ll see you in The Syndicate!
Ha ha – sure thing, Kristen!
This period between Christmas and New Years is a GREAT time to do your unsubscribing!
Bolaji.
You’ve just hit the nail in the HEAD (read “my head”).
For the past 2 weeks I kept saying to myself :”ACTION, ACTION, ACTION. Start doing at least one web site/day”. Do you know how is my regular day structured? Half a day I un-subscribe from different lists (I don’t know how but my email is flooded with marketing messages from Warriors wanting to sell me something), 1 hour I learn some new IM techniques and the rest I spend buying WSOs. It’s hard to get rid of this “modern addiction”, but this is my New Year’s resolution: stop subscribing, buying and get to ACTION ! (hopefully). I need a coach!!!
Ha ha!
Totally understand.
This may help.

Hey Bolaji,
Great post. “Unsubscribe”. I remember how awesome feeling it was when my mailbox was finally empty
.. And I don’t like the word “newbies” either. I use only when I have to and there is no other way to go around it.
